Antex Gascat 60 Gas Soldering Iron
The Gascast 60 from Antex is a gas powered soldering iron ideal for working in areas with difficult access or no live power sources. The simple body features a cap cover with built in flint ignitor for quick and easy ignition of the soldering iron.
Supplied with a 2.4mm soldering tip as standard, other tips are also available to suit more specific applications. Separate hot air tips are available to convert the soldering iron into a hot air tool, see (512-676) for a suitable hot air tip.
When used as a soldering iron, the Gastcat 60 has a 400°C maximum tip temperature and it quick and easy to refill through the base of the handle in just 10 seconds. The compact design measuring just 177mm from tip to handle is comfortable to use for prolonged work and only weighs 60g.
