The cross-linked polyolefin outer tube, which wraps around the splice, is resistant to chemical and thermal damage and provides optimal protection for delicate splices. You can be assured that the stainless steel strength rod keeps the sleeve rigid to prevent misalignment and signal distortions. The clear and transparent sleeve allows you to easily see where the splice protector should be located before you start heat shrinking.
This product carries Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) certification, which assures you it only contains negligible amounts of any materials that can harm your health. You can use the item on fibre optic splices in domestic and commercial settings.
