RS PRO Ceiling PIR Presence Detector, Ceiling Mount, 220 → 240 V ac

Commonly used in warehouses and offices, the RS PRO ceiling mount presence detector box lets you control lighting, heating or ventilation appliances automatically. A passive infrared (PIR) sensor detects when someone moves through the room and turns the appliance on. Once the area is vacated, there is a time-out period which can be set between 10 seconds and 30 minutes. The appliance will then turn off.
When used with lighting applications you can save even more energy, as lights only turn on when natural light goes below a preset level. The ceiling PIR detector has a casing of flame-retardant acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) thermoplastic and an IP55 rating for water and dust protection.
This presence detector is CE-certified and complies with EMC-2004/108/EC on electromagnetic compatibility and ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 on electrostatic discharge. It also meets LVD-2006/95/EC standards as a safe low-voltage appliance.
