The Bourns H-385 panel seal assembly is constructed from a clear silicone rubber boot and a rigid black plastic frame. The matte black finish makes the panel seal suitable for use in most front panels. This panel seal protects potentiometers from the accidental entry of rain, grease, dust or oils through the front of the potentiometer. The silicone rubber is torn resistant, providing a long life span, while the transparency of the material ensures that you can easily read the numerals. The life expectancy is 100000 actuations minimum.
