HIP2103/HIP2104, 3-Phase, Half Bridge Motor Drivers, Intersil

The HIP2103-4DEMO1Z Demonstration Board, is a general purpose motor drive module with a microprocessor controller on-board. It uses a PIC microcontroller to control the HIP2103 and the HIP2104 half bridge drivers with six MOSFETs.
The HIP2103-4DEMO2Z Demonstration Board integrates the HIP2103 and the HIP2104 half bridge drivers which control six on-board MOSFETs configured as a 3-phase bridge. Two inputs per a phase are provided to control independently the high side driver and the low side driver.
The boards are designed for Full, or Half Bridge brushed DC motors and 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor applications. It can be used in any application that requires any combination of three independent half bridges.

• MOSFET bridge supply voltage up to 60 V
• 3.3 V and 12 V LDO voltage regulators with dedicated enable pins (HIP2104)
• Sleep mode quiescent current: 5 μA
• Under Voltage-Lockout (UVLO): 4 V
• 3.3 V or 5 V CMOS compatible inputs with hysteresis
• High current MOSFETs with integrated bootstrap diode

HIP2103-4DEMO2Z

• MOSFET bridge supply voltage from 5 V to 40 V dc
• High current MOSFETs on-board with integrated bootstrap diode
• Large diameter holes for wire connections to motor and power source
• 12-pin through-hole header for signal connections to an external controller
• Optional heatsink can be accommodated on the PCB back-side
