Cure plastic weldings and paint coatings quickly and easily with this handy, compact ceramic heating element from RS PRO. With a concave shape that focuses heat into one place, it's highly energy efficient – 96% of the input power is converted into pure heat.
The unit has a wire embedded inside the heating element that creates long-wave infrared in parallel rays for improved efficiency. It has a guaranteed working life of between 5,000 and 10,000 working hours and a hardwearing, glazed ceramic surface that protects the element from corrosion. The unit is power rated at 500 W and has a maximum surface temperature of +700°C, so it's suitable for use even in challenging industrial environments.
This curved ceramic element has been given the RS PRO seal of approval for quality and reliability. Heaters of this kind are commonly used in the manufacturing sector.
