Losing track of things? This 5-digit mechanical counter from the RS PRO range is a compact piece of kit.
Mechanical counters share the same performance characteristics as digital counters, but they’re built using only mechanical components. The gold standard before the days of electronics, mechanical counters are still popular today thanks to their user-friendly design and versatile functionality.
Like all mechanical counters, this 5-digit model doesn’t require any power to work. Instead, it works on movement from the user by logging one count for each stroke of the lever. Capable of logging up to 1,000 counts per minute, this model is more than equipped to meet the needs of manual counting applications.
The counter also has a screw-clamp mount, so you can take it out with you anywhere. This makes it a great choice for traffic surveying, footfall crowd counting or tallying point-of-sale transactions.
