Introducing the range of RS PRO Screw-Cup Point Screws, a high-quality fastener solution for applications where a secure and discreet finish and precise tolerances are required when joining two objects or surfaces together, within or against each other. Each fastener is made from steel, making them much more cost-effective than their stainless-steel counterparts, while offering a high level of protection against surface rust and oxidisation.
Socket screws are designed to be used with a wide range of materials like wood and metal, and to join panels or pieces together. They offer a higher tensile strength than nails thanks to the thread which in turn produces a more secure fastening, making them ideal for medium to heavy duty applications. They are easy to install and can also be removed for disassembly or adjustment. Socket screws are most commonly used for:
