The body of this unit is made from technopolymer, a lightweight but robust plastic. This means the adaptor isn't likely to crack, even under extreme conditions. It also won't melt when exposed to high temperatures, so it's safe to use near hot components. The push-in connectors on either end make it easy to install without the need for additional tools.
This adaptor contains only minimal levels of any harmful substances so is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant.
