From Switchcraft, a selection of high performance, rugged jack plugs and sockets. These cable mount plugs and corresponding sockets are ideal for use with electronic instruments and amplifiers.
The cable-mounted jack plugs comprise machined brass handles, with one piece tip rods, solder tags and heavy-duty cable clamps, ensuring reliable electrical continuity, shielding and secure strain relief. They also include high temperature insulators.
The 2 and 3-pole high retention standard sockets mount into 3/8 in. holes in panels up to 5/32 in. thick. The 3-pole standard socket includes a double closed circuit in addition to the tip, ring and sleeve connections. While the 2-pole fully shielded long reach socket virtually eliminates hum pickup and is ideal for guitar or speaker connections. It allows for front mounting into a panel of up to 1 1/4 in. thick, through a 15/32 in. mounting hole. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.
