RS PRO Splice Protector For Use With Optical Network Unit

This RS PRO splice protector is designed to shield your fibre optic cables after fusion splicing. It's a quick and easy component to use in fitting your fibre optic cables and systems.
The splicer has a clear sleeve that lets you see the location of your splice before it shrinks when fitting. A sealant also protects your splice. The protector has a cross-linked polyolefin outer tube and a 301-grade stainless steel rod. This ensures your cable and signal are firmly protected. It has a 2.5 mm diameter and comes in a length of 60 mm.
This splice sleeve provides you with excellent signal protection that will be free from damage around the house and office making it suitable for use in both residential and urban environments. It comes as part of an RS PRO range and other lengths are available.
