RS PRO Chrome Air Switch Push Button, Dia. 42 → 45mm

Use this air switch for the safe activation and deactivation of electrical circuits in hazardous environments. It makes use of a bellows system to move air down a tube, which is then used to operate electrical contacts at a distance. Enabling you to operate equipment remotely, it makes your electrical systems much safer, lowering the risk of electrocution.
The switch has a large circular button and escutcheon, both made of chrome for improved durability. It suits bellows that operate with large volumes of air, allowing for longer distances between the operator and the circuit.
The air switch has been tested extensively to meet RS PRO's standards of quality, consistency and reliability. It's often used in laboratories, industrial battery-charging rooms and anywhere there may be explosive gases or powders, high electrical currents or a lot of moisture.
